Travel to Korea (a really colourful post)
You know when I went down to my travel agent to ask about a holiday to Korea, she told me about Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Sokcho, a couple of more destinations then of course Jeju.

She told me about beautiful Jeju and how it was a ‘must’ if you wanted to say you’ve visited Korea. So what was so special about Jeju or Jeju-do? Well how about that it is only Korea’s largest island, celestial in appearance and famed for 3 things: its roaring winds, magnificent rocks, and women! Yes, demographic fact: Jeju has a greater population of women over men.

Jeju’s Seogwipo City also played host to the 2002 Korea/Japan FIFA World Cup! Yes, football fans and fanatics, your heroes have sweated on this field!

MY travel/tour agent also told me about Jeju’s breathtaking views, her temperate climate and unique traditional culture. She spoke of the famous Mt. Hallasan (a dormant volcano) and its amazing ecosystem (it’s also a national park), amazed me with photos of the waterfalls and naturally formed clifs of Jusang Jeolli and tempeted me with the splash of colours that the seasons brought through the fauna of Jeju.

I fell in love with Korea…watching Winter Sonata (a Korean series) made me fall harder and inspired me to make my trip in winter when I would be able to see the snow flowers of Hallasan.

But there’s more to Jeju, much more and my travel agent didn’t tell me all about them…perhaps there were just too many and it slipped her mind. But next time, I’m going to tell you about one attraction she did miss out. So stay tuned because you’re going to want to see this one…begins with amazement and ends with unforgettable.
