Yes, literally eat your foe! You can have it for breakfast, you can have it for dinner…anytime you like really.

Now before you scream, “I may wish my ‘foe’ ill but I’m not turning cannibal to make it happen!”…allow me to introduce you to ‘Foe’.

Everybody, meet Foe (pronounced Fur and sometimes spelt as Furr):

Everybody, this is 'FOE' Â Â (Picture credit: Lao Bumpkin)

Scared you for a minute there didn’t I?

So now that you know ‘who’ is Foe, lets move on to ‘what’ is Foe.

Foe is one of the traditional foods of Laos – ‘noodle soup* ‘ prepared ‘Laotian style’.

If you’re interested to try your hands Laotian cooking then you can visit www.asianspicyrecipes.com for some recipes.

*noodle soup is a dish you can find over South East Asia as almost all S.E.A countries have their own version of it.
