10 Qualifications of China’s Perfect Hostess
It looks simple enough, just stand around and smile, right?
How hard is it to get a perfect ten in gymnastics or diving?
China’s Hostesses, the girls that rotate in groups of six at every medal ceremony are all perfect 10s.
Here are 10 qualifications -
1. University education
2. Aged 18-24
3. Height 1.68cm-1.78cm (5’5″-5’8″)
4. Ruddy and shiny complexion
5. elastic skin
6. eyes must be 3/10s the length of their face
7. be one of 300 chosen out of 5,000 candidates
8. have hair long enough to be pulled into a bun
9. look good in a Chinese silk dress (cheongsam)
10. be able to stand in high heels for 30 mins to an hour with a smile
and four more.
11. run 1,000 meters a day
12. must complete charm boot camp
13. show only 8 teeth in a perfect smile – done by spending hours before a mirror with a chopstick between their teeth.
14. must do it for free.
