Japanese Women Use Trains to Get Dressed.

Well, it seems that the Korean ladies are going to be able to do the same.

Seoul will introduce women-only subway cars next year in an effort to crackdown on sexual harassment of female passengers – read guys can’t keep their hands to themselves.

The Seoul Metro and the Seoul Metropolitan Transit Corp. which has 8 subway lines will designate cars for women only next year.

Two cars on each subway train will be exclusively for women.

“Side effects’ might be incurred but maximizing the convenience of the lady folk and crime prevention will ‘surpass the disadvantages’ is the spirit.

I wonder why we don’t read about this sort of thing happening on Chinese public transportation.

Maybe it’s just not news there.
