EAF food equation: Japan+food+cute+art = Kyaraben Bento
The Japanese don’t just want their food to tickle their taste buds, they want it to be eye candy as well. So with great passion and even more patience, they came up with Kyaraben Bento.
Bento is a single portion takeout or home-packed meal in Japanese cuisine. A standard bento will be made up of rice, fish/meat, and one or more pickled/cooked vegetables as a side dish. It’s a wholesome balanced meal that was first designed to capture the love of children, but now it’s just part of Japan’s all cute things worship.

I really enjoyed this article. You have very good blog with good quality recordings. Thanks for the article.
This is a really good post and something I never thought about, but I do recall a few eatery charges on my credit card that seemed to be much higher than I recalled spending. Well I think I will make an effort to bring enuf cash for tipping from now on if possible!
