Jude Law and Martin Scorsese to visit Tokyo next week

English actor Jude Law and director Martin Scorsese will soon be visiting Tokyo. The actor and director will be visiting the Japanese capital to promote their latest films.

The Japanese premiere of ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’, which releases on March 10, will be attended by Law, while Scorsese will be in the capital to promote ‘Hugo’, which will be released in March 1. Law will be promoting the movie as Robert Downey Jr will not be able to enter Japan due to his earlier convictions for drug use.

The actor plays the role of Dr. Watson. Downey came to Japan last in the year 2008 to promote ‘Iron Man’. During that time the actor was questioned for a long time at the Narita Airport.

The authorities then allowed him but informed him that he would be persona non grata for the future visits. Scorsese last came to Japan in the year 2006 to promote the movie ‘The Departed’.
