The Chinese, I think, don’t particularly care what the rest of the world thinks about the death sentence – good, bad or indifferent.

People are put to death and soon. None of that twenty years of appeals nonsense.

A former senior city official was sentenced to death for killing his mistress with a car bomb.

He, apparently, tired of her demands for money, silenced her. Now,

he will belethal.injection.china.jpg silenced.

Chinese official speak for an affair – “irregular sexual relations.”

Chinese official speak for death sentence – “death sentence.”

The mistress got a house, jobs for relatives and asked for more money.

The city official tested two bombs before having his mechanic do the deed to her car with success. The mechanic will repairing cars in prison for life.  But, that beats tuning up the lethal injection van, no?

The city official was also found guilty of bribery and losing funds.

Death sentence justified?
