Schools Tackle Sexual Harassment Education

Submitted by Bill Belew on Saturday, 27 September 2008No Comment

Sex has always been a taboo subject in China. School teachers shy away from it in physiology classes from elementary through college.

Parents are reluctant to talk about it at home.

Enter the perverts. It is much easier to take advantage of someone sexually if the victim doesn’t know what is happening to them.

It’s heaven for the weirdos in China…or hell, as the case may be.

1. An online survey revealed that half of Chinese do not even know what sexual harassment is.sexual.harassment.jpg

2. 27% think only girls can be sexually harassed.

3. 26% think only strangers can cause sexual harassment

4. 33% think sexual harassment is only between male and female.

As a result, China’s Ministry of Education has made sexual harassment, as well as natural disasters and campus violence part of a new safety education course.

Education will keep the sleazeballs away….but it’s going to take a long time for that to happen.

What about the people who still don’t know when they are being sexually harassed?

Have you ever been sexually harassed?
