Chinese job market flooded

Any recent graduate knows he/she will have to put in some extra effort to get a job in this time of (looming) recession. But this is especially true for the Chinese graduates, that were literally flooding a job fair in Shenzen. In fact, the Washington Post even mentions that four glass doors got shattered and it was a close call before riots would’ve started.

People were pushing, screaming, shouting and climbing over one another. Even if you would have had no intention to go in, the crowd was so dense it would have airlifted you in there. Scrap the ‘flood’. This is more like a tsunami.

The job fair offered approximately 20,000 jobs. There were over 150,000 students attending…
