She wants to be an American Wild Girl she was quoted as saying.
“I’d like to play an American teen (ZZ is 27 but could certainly pass as a teenager), typical American girl with a very rebellious character. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, but I want to play someone who is really absurd. I think that would be so cool.”
What about drugs? What about sexually active? What about free spending?
Wait…she could be just any American teenage girl….they wrote the book on absurd.
Could ZZ play an American teenager?
My bet is there are a bus load of screenwriters making a script fit for Zhang Ziyi right now.
