Time Change Fall 2009
Today is October 24, and it means that today is the time change day for fall 2009 so let’s hope you don’t forget to set you clocks backward an hour before you go to bed. What is this all about? Well, at the end of this post you’re going to discover more, but at the mean time let’s say… it’s an additional an hour for you to sleep your night away.
Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the convention of advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn.
In many western European countries, Daylight Saving Time begins on the last Sunday of March and concludes in October on the last Sunday of that month.
