Nobody ever accused me of being quick on the uptake. Here I’ve been writing about the girls of Asia who will be competing for the Miss World 2008 title – China’s Zi Lin Zhang won last year in front of the home crowd – and the venue change went right past me.

While Russia is having a dumb attack in Georgia, the organizers decided to take the girls to somewhere far away and safe….can you say Johannesburg South Africa?

The girls will be in Johannesburg for 4 weeks. I wonder…where can I get a press pass?
