Squeaky Clean Toyota Fights Sexual Harassment Suit

Submitted by Bill Belew on Wednesday, 24 September 2008No Comment

Remember the women who sued Toyota for $190 Million.

So far, all she has got was her boss fired.

President and CEO of Toyota North America, Hideaki Otaka has voluntarily left earlier…about 2 weeks. He was going to leave in June anyway.

He thought staying around would go against the company’s interest. Wow, somebody who put the company first. Still, he maintains his innocence.

There is no decision yet other than Toyota will make its senior executives sit through more driver’s ed training classes…I mean…more training in sexual harassment and discrimination training.

No one should have to face discrimination or harassment based on sex. And no one should be sued for $190 million either.

There should be a abuse of the legal system harassment measure or something like that.

What do you think?
