City Opens Sex Hotline for Middle-aged and Elderly
I guess this kind of service was meant for people like me….middle-aged and heading into the elderly stage.
Shanghai’s No. 411 Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army created a sex hotline for old fogeys and geezers, male and female to help them deal with sexually related diseases and problems….
Uh…and nobody called about such matters.
However…about one third of the 5,000 some calls they did get were people who ‘just wanted to talk.’ They were lonely, physically and psychologically depressed because they had no one to communicate with.
Yup…that’s pretty much what it’s like even for those who are middle-aged, elderly AND married. Nobody to ‘get dirty’ with.
The hospital will take action:
1. Lectures on sex and health where guests can middle-age, and elderly speed-date. That should be fun to watch.
2. Trips to the city’s sex museum.
3. Fielding calls from many people who misunderstand about sex. 40, 50, 60-year olds STILL not understanding how sex works? They need more than a phone call.
In China…”Many callers think it inappropriate for the elderly to have sexual feelings and worry that such feelings are bad for their health.”
I think they should worry if they do NOT have feelings about sex, don’t you?
