Half Nude Nut Sellers Tapped to Promote Safe Sex
Taiwan’s betel nut sellers use the same strategy that Toyota, GM and most other companies use to attract attention to their product…skin.
Girls in
1. bikinis
2. translucent blouses
3. nurse’s uniforms with miniskirts
compete to seel the nuts, chewed as a mild stimulant and very popular among truck and taxi drivers.
The Taiwanese government wants the girls to give out boxes containing condoms as an AIDS warning with the nuts….uh..nuts and condoms. I reckon there is a connection there.
Some doctors think chewing betel nuts promotes cancer.
The ‘betel nut girls’ are not too excited eithr about the plan, fearing it “might give people wild or suggestive thoughts.”
Taiwan’s 23 million people see an increase of about 3,000 AIDs cases a year.
